Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon with years of working in a variety of places including the Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton UK under the supervision and guidance of Ms Jennifer Rusby (Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon) and the Istituto Nazionale Tumori di Milano under the directorship of Dot. Agresti, breast surgeon. I have also worked with Assistant Professor of Surgery, Elias Sanidas who has been a valuable mentor in my career (also working in Breast). My PhD, however, is on Obesity Surgery and particularly on a new suggested operation and its comparison to Sleeve Gastrectomy.

I had the great opportunity to have worked with a colossus on the subject, Professor of Surgery Dr Ioannis Melissas and I cannot say enough about the endless sessions of brainstorming we had.
Working in powerful teams throughout has made me a valuable, I think, member of these groups and an experienced team player with the top experience being at the research team at the Marsden! Through my research there I managed to master old skills and acquire some new ones like data collection, entry and analysis, scientific writing etc.
I also gained significant experience in public speaking and presenting.
I had the pleasure of harvesting the fruit of my labour of in the form of award nominations and award winning presentations both on obesity and breast, in highly specialised conferences.
